Here’s the scenario … you get a card in the mail, one of those little reminders that tells you it’s time for your mid-year financial checkup. Your reaction: I’ll take care of that later. Here’s why you should look forward to it.
Because things change. Between the recession, possible job losses, poor investment returns and everything else that might be going on in your life, there isn’t a better time to check up on your finances than now. If you are not moving forward, or if you are assuming too much risk as a result of your current portfolio or financial decisions, it’s time for change. The mid-year review is an opportunity to think clearly about your financial situation.
